Welcome to the University of Sindh, the oldest University in Pakistan. This multidisciplinary University that has more than 19,000 students and 644 academic staff with 8-Faculties that include various research centers, covering the whole spectrum of learning from the Arts, Sciences, Business to Humanities. The University of Sindh started its functioning as Examining body from 1947 and from 1951 as teaching University and takes pride in having and thus far a huge roaster of alumni, over 400,000, among them some renowned Scientists, Educationists, and illustrious personalities and leaders in various fields. The University of Sindh, being a comprehensive, research intensive university, offers Bachelors, Masters, M.Phil/M.S and Ph.D. programs in 49 disciplines. Many emerging science discipline have introduced to within your career scope. The University faculty presently includes 135 teachers with doctoral degrees in various disciplines.
